Abstract

|
Objective: This study was case study. The objective was to examine case on manual creation for infection control in dental hospital
Methods: This study was done at chosun university dental hospital period of Janiary to October, 2013. We collected data about the understanding of healthcare accreditation, the understanding of infection control and system, disinfectants, surface and canopy management, the equipment management, personal protective equipment and handpiece
management.
Results: This study show that chosun dental hospital have a certain level of infection control system. As infection manual, staff members could infection control effectively as well as prepare themselves for healthcare accreditation
Conclusions: This study reviewed infection control system at chosun university dental hospital. And further studies are needed in the future for systemic management in infection control.
